Created specifically for invited guests of the event, this VIP party favour set celebrates half a century of Formula One and represents a rare opportunity to own artefacts distributed only to attendees on the night.
This set includes the official leather-bound programme issued at the event, alongside “Chequered History”, the limited-edition book produced to commemorate Formula One’s 50th Anniversary. Written by respected motorsport journalist David Nye, only 1,000 copies of this book were produced for the occasion. The example included in this collection is individually numbered 251/1000.
Also included is a hallmarked sterling-silver presentation money clip created by renowned jeweller Theo Fennell. Crafted from 92.5% silver, the clip is engraved with the date of the gala dinner, 19th April 2000. The silver anchor hallmark confirms that the piece was assayed in Birmingham, while the “TF” maker’s mark identifies Theo Fennell as the creator. These money clips were produced exclusively for guests attending the celebration.
Further items in the set include a sealed pack of Connolly Racing Demon playing cards, produced solely for the anniversary dinner. Connolly, established in 1878, is a British heritage luxury brand known for its craftsmanship and its links to automotive and driving culture.
Completing the collection are NSPCC FULL STOP lapel pins presented on their original cards, along with the original presentation boxes for the items.
